Android permissions explained

See why SayPilot asks for accessibility, floating bubble, screenshot mode, notification, and network access, plus how to revoke them.

Read permissions

How do I start using SayPilot?

Install the Android app, open SayPilot, grant the requested permissions, and use the floating assistant when you want reply suggestions for the visible conversation.

Why does SayPilot ask for accessibility permission?

Accessibility permission lets SayPilot appear over supported chat apps and read only the on-screen conversation context you choose to analyze.

Does SayPilot send messages automatically?

No. SayPilot drafts reply suggestions only. You decide whether to copy, edit, ignore, or send anything in the original chat app.

How does conversation memory work?

Optional memory can save relationship, tone, and preference signals for a conversation so future suggestions feel more continuous. You can review and clear memory controls.

What should I do if the floating bubble disappears?

Check Android overlay and accessibility settings, reopen SayPilot, and confirm the app is allowed to run in the background on your device.

How can I request data deletion?

Use the data deletion page or contact support with your account email. SayPilot will process deletion requests for account data and support records.

Still need help?

Contact support from inside the app or from the support request page, and include your device model, Android version, and a screenshot when possible.
