FAQ

Questions this page answers

Can SayPilot reply in Japanese, Korean, or Chinese?

Yes. Choose a target language such as Japanese, Korean, English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, or Arabic.

What if I cannot find the language I want?

Use the custom language entry to type a language tag such as nl-NL, or leave the setting on Auto so SayPilot follows the language it detects in the current chat.

Can it follow the chat language automatically?

Yes. In Auto mode, SayPilot infers the reply language from the conversation. The app UI language is separate, so an English interface can still generate a Japanese, Spanish, or Chinese reply when the chat calls for it.

Which setting wins: Auto or a selected language?

A selected language is treated as a fixed target for that generation. Auto is used when you want SayPilot to infer the reply language from the conversation.

Can I reply in a different language from the chat?

Yes. Choose a target language when you want the reply to be in English, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, or another supported/custom language even if the chat uses something else.

How does SayPilot handle mixed-language chats?

Auto mode looks at the current conversation context and may follow the strongest recent language signal. For predictable output in a mixed-language chat, choose a fixed target language before generating.
